Longitude Planning Group was retained by the Village of Whispering Pines to assist with updates to the overall parks and trails master plan and to develop new recreational signage for the Village’s park system.
Longitude designed and coordinated a Village-wide signage program that included lake, trail, playground, and skate park rule sign, as well as a comprehensive Amenities and Trails Map, identifying each park and trail loop across the Village.
The park's design features include:
Unified signage templates featuring consistent typography, color, and Village branding Trail and amenity map for public use with distances, loops, and key destinations Signage addressing boating, storage, and recreation regulations for residents and guests
The new system creates a cohesive visual identity across the Village’s parks and trails network, improving wayfinding and communication while reinforcing the Village’s recreational brand. Longitude continues to serve as the Village’s on-call landscape architect for related park and trail projects.
